Hills and High Places
This blog initially grew out of publicity for a book describing the British anti-roads movement in the nineteen nineties. But there was always more involved than either this apparent single issue or purely a piece of social history: the movement was about communicating our collective environmental emergency, about waking up to our responsibilities and finding that when we do so the world often lends us a hand. I have tried to maintain those specific points of inspiration in the further writing this blog is a part of in addition to the wider hope that when we dedicate ourselves to the future en masse the results can be surprising in the level of empowerment they bring.
