  3. Slate takes on calorie counts

    http://www.jacobgrier.com/blog/archives/1215.html

Christopher Flavelle has a solid article (with video) in Slate today examining New York’s calorie count mandate. He gives a fair representation of both sides, and he ultimately concludes that the hypothesis that forcing nutritional on consumers will make them healthier is far from proven. …

    Wowie, a NATURAL Viagra?

    http://mschaut.wordpress.com/2008/07/05/wowie-a-natural-viag...

Or, you could try this miracle fruit that seems to make things that don’t taste all that good suddenly taste heavenly. My bet is that this is every bit as effective, and much less expensive, than Viagra.  What do you think?

limit choice, violate private property, and are justified only by shoddy “science.” But this call for smoking bans in private homes and cars takes tyranny to a whole new level. Ironically, as our friend Jacob Grier so eloquently describes, “Despite all the recent victories for the anti-smoking lobby, its increasingly untenable claims and restrictive proposals will open the door to blowback.” Such impending retaliation should have the anti-smoking community at
