I am a foodie and I LOVE to cook! I come from a large Italian-American family, and food has always been a big part of my life. Every Sunday, my mom would start the “gravy” around 9am and let it simmer on the stove all day until dinner time (2pm at my house on Sundays). The house would smell of garlic, fried meatballs and Romano cheese. YUM. This is the very reason my best friend (who spent a lot of time at our house) started calling me “little clove”, and still does to this day. I’m hoping to expand my horizons a little bit beyond family recipes. I want to be able to whip out a fabulous pad thai, delicious fish tacos, a roast chicken almost as good as Julia’s. I want to be the kind of cook who can make a great meal out of whatever is in the pantry. I do have a day job, but cooking is what I was made to do. I would love to share my food and food experiences with anyone who wants to learn with me.
