About Mindapted This website is a place where you can explore the implications and findings of scientifically informed psychology in a fun and accessible format. It is relevant to anyone interested in knowing more about themselves, and to those who have ever asked, “why do we do behave the ways that we do?” Those pursuing psychology for academic reasons should find appropriate content as well. Mindapted is also also a place to examine the evidence and implications of some wacky claims made by those using psychology for profit (e.g., the claim that you can cure cancer with only your thoughts). Finally, it is a place to discuss and interact. The content is geared towards a general audience (as opposed to experts in the field) while remaining true to scientific psychology.
