Welcome to Neptune Nation. What is Neptune Nation? Neptune Nation is the kingdom beneath the waves, the nautical world. Whether you surf, freedive, swim, fish, row, boat, sail, scuba or any other aquatic activity, you are a part of the Neptune Nation. We are a collection of Watermen and Waterwomen, all striving to better interact, and better understand, our relationship to the water. Neptune Nation originally began as a blog to chronicle my building of a 16' Banks Dory. A Banks dory is a small wooden boat with a reputation bigger than a mountain. In this journey I discovered a lot about history, myself, and my readers. It is then that I began to realize that many people loved to read about all things aquatic.
