Clearing Up RDF misrepresentation once again!
http://www.openlinksw.com/blog/~kidehen/?id=1352Daniel Lewis has penned a post titled: Clearing up some misconceptions..again, in response to Ben Werdmuller's post titled: Introducing the Open Data Definition. The great thing about the Linked Data Web is that it's much easier to discovery and respond to these points of view before the ink dries …

http://www.openlinksw.com/blog/~kidehen/?id=1351During a brief chat with Michael Hausenblas about a new Linked Data project he is championing called: LForum, I made a freudian slip, in the form of the typo: Evoluation, which at the time was supposed to have been: Evolution. …

An interview with Seth Earley about Linked Data
http://www.snee.com/bobdc.blog/2008/06/an_interview_with_set...achieve specific goals. I interviewed Seth via email to learn more about his company and their relationship to the burgeoning world of Linked Data techniques and practices. (As a side note about taxonomies and Linked Data, I recently learned from Kingsley Idehen's blog about a very interesting Linked Data application of one of the most important taxonomies in the US: the Library of Congress Subject Headings. If you follow the links in his bulleted list, remember to do a View Source on them.)

What can the Semantic Web do for me?
http://www.jasonkolb.com/weblog/2008/06/what-can-the-se.htmlI've said this before, and I'm still convinced of it: I will never build another application on a relational database, even if I don't plan to use any outside data. Why would I consciously cripple my application? UPDATE: Kingsley has reminded me that there is indeed a line that needs to be drawn between the RDF store and the old relational database. There is, already, middleware available that will facilitate mixing and matching RDF and relational databases in cases where the

URIs and DSNs
http://vanirsystems.com/danielsblog/2008/05/29/uris-and-dsns.... The Linked Data Web is fully explainable using existing database terminology (e.g. URIs are DSNs), which is then built up creating a web of data connections, establishing Web Open DataBase Connnectivity. Kingsley gives a description of WODBC and a comparison with the traditional ODBC.
