This blog began in 2003, a record of parenting my children and our decision to home educate. Over the years we have built up a small business and now lead a slightly alternative lifestyle educating our children and sharing a job between my husband and I. We have 4 daughters and so a large family and recently lost our baby boy when he was 11 days old. This is a blog about family life, bringing up daughters, working together in a family run business and trying to live with the grief of child loss. In an effort to keep ourselves busy (as if blogging isn't enough!) we spend a lot of time ferrying children to 852 activities, I read books and review them on the blog and knit. teaching children at home isn't easy and doesn't leave much time for anything else but it is keeping our minds occupied as we try to conceive one last child to heal our hearts. All of them. Neonatal death affects the entire family & we are searching for our happy ending.
