written them off as nut jobs, doomers, paranoids, hysterical, dramatic, negative, catastrophizing, and let's not forget, lunatics, for taking collapse seriously and preparing for it. For all of you, I recommend another wonderful site, Kathy McMahon's Peak Oil Blues which is invaluable for reality checking and providing emotional support for thinking, talking, and taking action around collapse. Likewise, Sharon Astyk's Casaubon's Book site is both supportive and very practical in terms of no nonsense preparation.

http://burrobird.typepad.comwhen they wear out. Buy now for the long term, and not on price alone. I’m finding better quality items being replaced by cheaply made products at the same price. Buy the quality stuff while you can still find it, and make sure it fits Tier A. (See #3) I have believed in this principle wholeheartedly over the years, though I do love fashion! I buy most of my clothing second-hand, but choose high quality shoes and bras so that I don't have to fiddle around with shopping for them again for AWHILE.

Peak Oil Blues: The Blog
http://www.relocalize.us/blog/?p=254has been writing of and soliciting stories about peoples’ emotional responses to the realizations of peak oil. Fascinating reading, like this post marking the blog’s two-year anniversary, and a collection of wonderful pieces on her page entitled “Articles of Hope.”
