Residential Warrior

My name is Alissa Widman. Residential Warrior is my new blog created in 2011 dedicated to anything and everything dorm-related at Bowling Green State University. I will soon be beginning my third year at BGSU. I’m a journalism major and a sociology minor, so I love studying different social environments and behavioral patterns within them. When I’m not blogging, most of my time is spent reporting for the campus newspaper, The BG News. I am quite familiar with the environment of on-campus life, but I’ve learned many things the hard way. Dorm life is tough; I would even call it culture shock sometimes. But it doesn’t have to be that way. I want to help current and prospective BGSU falcons become residential warriors, learning how to survive dorm life one blog post at a time.
