The blog began a few months ago to supplement published essays in national and regional press. The blogger is an established critic with strong opinions Her essays have appeared in The Nation, The Hudson Review, Commonweal, Arts, New York Newsday, First Things, The New Criterion, American Arts Quarterly, and The Magazine Antiques. She was a contributing editor to ArtCritical.com and a columnist for The New York Sun. Presently, she contributes to The Weekly Standard and writes regularly on galleries and museums for City Arts. Maureen Mullarkey is also an artist. Her work is represented by Kouros Gallery, NYC.
