http://www.tellasia.org/blog The promise given to TellAsia's founder Leanna Cinquanta in 1996 was, "Wherever the sole of your foot shall tread, I have given you the land" (Joshua 1:3). In the past 15 years this passage of Scripture has been remarkably fulfilled. Leanna was led to base TellAsia not upon the principles of traditional mission agencies, but upon development and empowerment of native leadership. With the native people themselves leading everything at the field and admin levels while Americans maintain accountability, TellAsia's overhead is minimal while our productivity is exponential. In the past three years, TellAsia has developed a united network of native leaders which has resulted in an amazing 245,000 new believers and 9,000 new house-based churches. This has occurred in the least evangelized area of India, the Gangetic Plain between Delhi and Calcutta.
