My blog, The Blue Inkwell, is focused primarily on new nonfiction writers. But not just any new nonfiction writers. No, The Blue Inkwell is for us chickenshit Fence Writers. Those of us who have pondered writing a nonfiction book for years, but for various reasons haven't done it. Most of the time, that's because we don't know where to start, or what to do with it when we're finished writing. That's where The Blue Inkwell comes in. I've spent the last several years working as an Author's Assistant and Freelance writer. I share what I already know about the publishing industry, as well as what I'm learning along the way to getting my own book published. We talk about everything. Life as a writer - balancing work, family, & making time to write, the publishing industry, building a writers platform, marketing your book, finding an agent, you name it - we cover it all.
