One of the reasons I created theworldisabook.com site was to use as a travelogue of our family trips so our kids will have something to look back on beyond the pictures and souvenirs for memories. This was also about our experiences and lessons we’ve learned along the way and doing so on a budget (most of the time). We hope that our adventures can help other families and fellow travelers save time and money. Beyond reviews and guidebooks, I gravitate towards message boards, blogs and travel journals more for a traveler’s insight so I knew how important personal accounts are. This blog includes picture galleries and many photo collages. We love taking pictures and we've tried to include as many on our site for everyone to enjoy. Much of the credit belongs to my husband's great camera and good eye for details.
