This Is Fake DIY sprouted forth as a bedroom run DIY set up covering music that excited its authors back in the hazy, simple days of 2002, way before your Nan would have even heard of a social network. Since then it has grown up big and strong, turning from hobby to full time concern, moving to 'trendy' East London (the rent was cheap, none of us own a trucker cap), and setting up our own record label. DIY remains one of the most visited underground music sites in the UK, and still has a firm grip on its roots. No matter how flashy we may occasionally seem, it's all coded, designed and implemented by an evolving team, many of whom have been here from the very start. They really, honestly, have nothing better to do.
