Wool Durham

http://www.wooldurham.com Wool Durham is about knitting, spinning, crocheting, sewing and other fiber related and needlework hobbies. It is written by a graduate student based in Durham, North Carolina. This blog highlights needlework, knitting, and fiber arts events and products especially relevant to local knitters, but the majority of content is aimed at a broader audience. Daily features include discussion of knitting techniques, tools, tutorials, pattern reviews, book reviews, information on spinning, evaluations of the latest knitting magazines, and lots about works in progress and finished objects. This blog regularly links to content on Ravelry as well as other knitting and fiber art blogs. It also contains many original photographs of knitted projects completed by the author (or more often, in progress). The author of Wool Durham has been knitting and crocheting since she was a child. Spinning and sewing are more recently acquired (and less practiced) skills. |
