Burberry, Blackberry & Nabih Berry - Page 2
See BlackBerry is everywhere, on 90% of all tables, bars, and class tables. But 90% of people who use BlackBerry seem to use it for the wrong reasons, it’s just about owning one, plain simple. We disregard the importance of the BlackBerry as a powerful business phone, but rather we use it for the simple sake of our social appearance. I’d like to know the percentage of people who have sent a business e-mail using BlackBerry in the past 3 days, or who used it to update their Twitter account by posting their whereabouts regarding the conference they’re attending. That, too, falls in line with enforcing your social image without the actual benefit of the technological apparatus in our hands today.
As for Lebanon Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri, clearly he's not a brand, but nonetheless, let’s just say I wouldn’t be surprised if he became the national endorser of BlackBerry and Burberry in Lebanon. And If I was managing these brands, I'd give him a call. He’s already half-promoting them each time he goes on TV.
How about we start benefiting correctly from every innovation hitting our market today for a change? I’d hate to see the iPad being used for Lebanese local online poker competitions someday...
