News Flash: Apple iPhone 4S marketing FAIL - 'Access Denied' apple.com

Whoops! Major Apple.com marketing FAIL. Typically when Apple launches a new product, we'll see a notice on Apple's website letting us know that there is maintenance, and that the website will be back up soon enough.

The image you see above is not that same message...it's a general access denied browser message. Either Apple.com can't handle the traffic after the iPhone 4S launch, which makes me wonder how they'll handle the iCloud traffic, or Apple just flat out had a major marketing FAIL.

After the launch event, social media has gone bezserk as usual with everyone wondering whether this latest product launch was sufficient to the hungry Apple public, so I fully expect Twitter and facebook to have more traffic issues today as well. We've already seen Gizmodo and Engadget go down a few times during the liveblog of the Cupertino event, so why not Apple go down themselves?

Either way...'Siri, can you tell me where Apple.com went?'
