Viral Video: Social Media Saves the Day Reuniting Lost SD Card With Owner! - Page 2
When a friend of Catriona Bowman saw the shared video which had gone viral (was over 30,000 shares and now is over 37,000) she contacted her friend and owner of the SD card. Neat! What's even more cool is that people have loved the story and are continuing to check out the video, the girl, the music, the whole shebang.
From England, Bowman currently lives in Morzine, France. She responded to the entire incident, of course, on her Facebook page. Then traditional media, Dutch national radio fell in love with the story and came calling.
She told them, “I am ecstatic, in shock. I was crying for days when I lost the card, but then five minutes ago Emily called. Not only the card is back now, but I am now on Dutch national radio and YouTube. I had no clue everybody was searching for me.”
In the twinkling of an eye! That's what it takes for someone lost to be found, for someone crying to be made whole again and for traditional media to be searching out social media for uplifting stories to present, especially ones that have sparked our imagination's fire and gone viral.
