Okay, so you’re seeing these codes around, right?

They’re not quite the barcodes that we’re used to seeing… Well, because they’re not really barcodes, but they are codes. What are those things called again?

Anyway, it doesn’t really matter because I haven’t needed them even though they seem to keep popping up on the back of my Taco Bell receipts for some reason… Oh well.

Okay, I’m done joshing you all. They are called QR codes.

The point that I was trying to make is that besides the fact that they were a cool new technological innovation – “The QR code never really took off, it never excited anyone.” Oded Berkowitz, CEO of Clipix said.

The good folks at Clipix are bringing back the QR code.

We all know Clipix to be the uber cool organization tool that should make bookmarking obsolete pretty soon. The price drop alert is an absolutely phenomenal shopping tool and has since become a great tool for realtors and property investors.

A new mobile version of Clipix as well as updates to the iPhone and Android apps go live this month.

Now you can create your own QR code with the Clipix QR Code Generator as an individual or a business.

“By using the Clipix QR code reader on your phone, you can not only read the code, but you can add it to your Clipix clipboard.”

Other QR codes offer people the opportunity to view information, but not save it. The Clipix QR code generator allows for the information to be saved and then accessed from where ever you pull up your Clipix clipboard – whether it is on your mobile phone, tablet or PC.

This is also a great opportunity for individuals and businesses to become creative with their uses in QR codes and add fun to an innovation that before now didn’t seem all that extraordinary.

With that said, I must say that with Oded and his passion for Clipix – it makes me want to start creating QR codes.

Check it out for yourself, right here.
