On April 23rd, social networking professionals will visit the Windy City for a unique summit designed to help them hone their craft in a still-emerging field.

Social Media Strategies Summit, a two-day event held April 23-24 at the Hard Rock Hotel, Chicago, is designed to help those responsible for marketing, strategizing, developing and handling a brand's social presence, regardless of industry. SMSS Chicago plans to offer all of the elements needed for any brand, big or small, to achieve social media success.

According to Forbes, social media spending will more than double as a portion of marketing dollars, and those in charge of a brand's social outreach are becoming increasingly a potent partner in any company's growth. Over the last four years, executive education leader Global Strategic Management Institute (GSMI) has hosted over 25 Social Media Strategies Summits in more than 10 cities throughout the U.S. and London.
