It's Pink! Sprinkles Cupcakes Gets Vending Debut
Everything they do is tempting. Sprinkles Bakery, an architectural masterpiece in Beverly Hills, specializing in the fluffiest, loveliest, perfectly decadent, single-serve pastry confections... they're an artful celebration of purity.
Now, Sprinkles serves up special whenever the mood overwhelms your senses. Sprinkles delivers cupcakes on the spot, 24 hours a day, in Beverly Hills with their new high-tech vending machine.
What can't technology do?
"These days, as I sift, whisk and frost at the bakery I began with my husband in Beverly Hills, I imagine our scratch-based cupcakes as a natural extension of my great grandmother's legacy." Sprinkles founder, Candace Nelson provides on the Sprinkles website. She gushes, "My great grandmother was renowned for the distinctive desserts she made at her San Francisco restaurant during the 1930's. She created pure, delicious, uncomplicated pastries – ... " and the attention she gives her art is evident.
Sprinkles customers (consumers?) clamoring for ever-more opportunity to appreciate the company's efforts, created the demand which lead the company to greater technological advancements. This new vending machine is designed to offer sugar-y sweet relief in the form of single-serving boxes pulled from right inside the store. The apparent "ATM"-like machine is touch screen-enabled, and equipped with a robotic arm for careful retrieval of the goods.
Currently only in Beverly Hills, with another three scheduled for debut in New York stores soon, 24-hour gratification awaits.
iSprinkles, the company's "freshly baked" free app for iPhone and Android devices, is another way to get the word out. This app delivers free cupcakes, one-click menu, virtual gifting, store locators, and more to the purity-minded, cupcake-addicted pastry and sweets connoisseur, on the go.
Give the people what they need.... clean, fresh, sweet unadulterated ingenuity.
