Jimmy Choo Has A New CEO

According to an official WWD report, former John Galliano SA general manager Pierre Denis has been hired as Jimmy Choo's new CEO, effective immediately. Replacing Joshua Schulman, who left the position back in November 2011, after the Cult-following shoe brand was bought by Labelux a few months before in May.
"We are delighted to welcome an executive of Pierre's caliber to the Labelux family," Reinhard Mieck, chief executive officer of Labelux, said in a statement. "With his unrivaled experience of the international luxury sector and keen understanding of our business, Pierre is without question the right person to drive forward the Jimmy Choo business and exploit the enormous growth potential of what is an exceptional brand."
Before being John Galliano SA general manager, Denis worked as managing director for Christian Dior in Asia, later for Europe, the Middle East and finally India. Prior to his role at Dior, he worked in LVMH's perfumes and cosmetics division.
