Starbucks Coffee just announced it is now offering all of its customers in the United Kingdom (UK) a free weekly download on iTunes courtesy of Apple.

The offer is called "Pick of the Week". It also comes with a free WiFi service now available in all UK Starbucks without the need to register.

The free music download will include songs from popular music artists such as James Morrison, Tony Bennett, Coldplay and The Kooks. There will also be a free iBook titled, "Limitless" by Alan Glynn to mark the launch of the service.

Starbucks UK customers will be handed a "Pick of the Week" download card as how the program works. Once the cards are given to the customers they have 60 days from the date they are available to redeem the complimentary offering on iTunes.

It is not known at this time how long this Starbucks' UK offer would lasts.

The question now is, does Starbucks plan to do similar freebie offerings in the United States anytime soon? Patrons in the US just need to stay tuned.
