Drug Lord #41 in Forbes' "Most Powerful People"
Forbes Magazine released this week their "World’s Most Powerful People" list and, surprisingly, #41 is Mexico's drug godfather Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. Guzman is ranked above renowned political leaders like Dmitry Medvedev of Russia, Nicolas Sarkozy of France, and Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.
Guzman’s profession has been listed in Forbes as "drug trafficker." Guzman is hiding in the mountains of Northern Mexico at the moment and is one of the most wanted criminal in Mexico, carrying a reward of 30 million pesos ($2.3 million).
Probably Forbes is now clear that:
- Power and crime are not two separate entities.
- Politicians and criminals fall in the same category.
- Power comes with crime and money only.
