Books written by marketing gurus are a dime a dozen, the influential ones are priceless.

Recently I had the opportunity to sit down and read “Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds and Actions” by Guy Kawasaki.

I was skeptical as to whether this book would enchant me at all since it started off much like any other well-written book touting the accomplishments of the author.

I am honestly convinced that had I not continued reading this book that I would have lost out on some amazing insight into the ability to capture the attention of people I interact with. One of the most valuable parts of the book for me was where Guy discusses in detail how to analyze and frame the competition.

Another tip you will learn if you read his book is how to engage your peers in effective manner without acting superior or inferior but sort of on equal level.

Kawasaki recommends using Facebook and Twitter to engage people using some of the skills you will learn in his book.

To top off all the valuable techniques on building trust & likability Guy offers an accompanying webinar that will apply all of the information you absorb in his book.

In closing this book will leave you smiling with the satisfaction of having acquired some new methods to approach colleagues, customers and peers.
