Steve Jobs: Creator of A Revolution
Okay, I bet I know what you’re thinking. Another article recapping the media sensationalizing of the death of Steve Jobs, the legendary founder of Apple; that’s what you’re thinking right?
It has to be, because I know it’s what I’ve thought about every article I’ve read from every major news outlet about his death.
We all know Steve Jobs to be the legendary innovator of all things from the Apple everyone gobbles up. What else did Steve Jobs do for people besides give us great products that are fun and have taken one step closer to Star Trek?
He gave the select few an extra click to fit into.
Jobs, being an intellectual himself, must have felt isolated and misunderstood being a big thinker and a tech junkie. Being intelligent and technically inclined can be a very lonely feeling for people. Jobs gave everyone a set of products that made it fun to be intellectual while sometimes being socially challenged.
Steve Jobs used Apple to make geekdom cool!
No matter whether or not a person is considered to be a member of the “cool” click or they have been coined a geek, they could all come together via their common love for the iPod, iPhone, or the iPad.
It’s pretty safe to say that while making one of the most profitable empires in the world, he also helped to bring more unity to people by giving them a common love.
Rest in Peace, Steve Jobs- We know the big guy in the sky will be reading scripture on an iPad now.
