Hangover Treatment on Vegas Bus
The physiological effects following heavy consumption of alcoholic beverages, commonly known as a hangover, can include headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and noise, lethargy, dysphoria, diarrhea and thirst. The symptoms may persist for several days following a night of heavy drinking, except for perhaps in Las Vegas.
Hangover Heaven - a mobile, hangover treatment center in Las Vegas – is a bus garnished with fluffy sofas, special IV bags and a well-dressed doctor. Dr. Jason Burke, a board-certified anesthesiologist trained at Duke University, conceived of this venture that is set to operate on Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm.
From as little as $90, a patron of Las Vegas drinking establishments, will be picked up, given a comfortable seat, and plugged into an intravenous line via your his or her veins in an effort to cleanse the hangover with a combination of fluids containing electrolytes and other solutions to cure dehydration, the anti-nausea drug Ondansetron, and the anti-inflammatory drug Keterolac. The treatment takes about forty-five minutes. For an additional $100 or so, his fit-for-a-celebrity treatment includes a special concoction of IV vitamins.
As drinkers celebrates their recovery from a night of Hellish binging in Las Vegas, everything that happens in Vegas, can truly stay in Vegas, as promised – including the hangover.
