Protect Your Bubble Now Offers ID Theft Protection

According to the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) recent Consumer Sentinel Network Data Book for 2012, 12.6 million US adults were victims of ID theft last year. Anyone who has had this happen understands just how frustrating and time-consuming the process of clearing their name can be. This, in addition to still having to pay mortgages, heating bills, fuel, groceries and other expenses while the lengthy process plays out.
And not everyone who is a victim of ID theft can be as lucky as Brianna Priddy, whose stolen ID was handed to her at Applebees, where she works as a server by a woman trying to buy drinks. According to an article in Huffington Post, Priddy calmly told the woman her margaritas would be right there, and then went in the back to call 911. Police arrived and arrested the culprit for a bevy of crimes, including identity theft. But this is an exception, most people have to go through a lot more, and usually don't ever end up getting their property back.
For the rest of us, insurance company Protect Your Bubble has just announced new identity theft protection service priced at $69.99 per year (for individuals) and $79.99 per year (for households). Plans include prevention, detection and resolution services rolled into a single package, which gives consumers peace of mind that if someone tries to steal their ID, they'll be notified before it happens.

Protect Your Bubble's renters insurance was previously covered here, and Protect Your Bubble President, Stephen Ebbett said, "We developed our identity theft protection in direct response to customer needs." The company, which is owned by Assurant, Inc., part of Fortune 500 offers gadget, pet, travel, rental car and other insurance products.
