Andrew KoenigFormer Growing Pains actor Andrew Koenig, the son of Walter Koenig, Star Trek's iconic navigator Pavel Chekov, is missing and his family, friends and authorities are worried.

Koenig, 41, known for his role as "Boner" on the hit show during the late 80's, has been missing since February 14, but his father said he received a text from Andrew on the 16th.

Koenig was last seen in Vancouver, where he'd been visiting friends, but was supposed to return to his home in Venice, Ca.  When he didn't arrive, police were notified. According to authorities "Andrew has recently been despondent and his family and friends are concerned for his well-being."

Andrew apparently suffers from depression and as mentioned earlier, his father and mother did receive a text from him on the 16th, which they have not made public, but have added to their concern.

He is described as a white male, five feet five inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with long shoulder-length brown hair. Police said he could "be anywhere in the Vancouver area." Anyone who has seen him is asked to call 911.
Please spread the word and keep an eye out for Andrew.
