Entourage Recap: Victory and Defeat Part 2
The boys return to the top is nearly complete. Sadly, only Eric lags behind. Everyone else seems to be trending in an upward direction.
Let’s see how they panned out:
Vince continued his courtship of Sophia. His latest plan is to interview all the women he has been with, compile a DVD of women saying how wonderful he is, and send it to Sophia. He sends her the DVD through Drama, who gives the hard sell for his baby brother. After another hard sell from Turtle, Sophia agrees to meet Vince for a drink. Where’s that wall I was banging my head against last week?
Drama had himself another nice week. After returning to work for his animated series, Drama takes aim at getting his TV movie made. He is having difficulties because Phil Yagoda, his producer at CBS, is holding a grudge as a result of the strike. Vince and Ari step up to the plate to convince Phil to make the movie. After agreeing to pony up for Phil’s favorite charity, Drama’s TV movie is greenlit. Man hugs flow all around in the CBS lobby.
Turtle is trying to lock down a space for the Don Pepe’s people. While adhering to every imaginable New York stereotype for the second week in a row, the couple settles on a space that is way beyond Turtle’s budget. Turtle hassles his various investors for more money, which doesn’t go well. All of the athletes are predictably terrible. Savvy move by Turtle: Act with amateurs so you look like Anthony Hopkins by comparison. It’s no different from when an attractive girl hangs out with an ugly girl to make her seem even more attractive. Touché, Turtle. In the end, Vince reveals that he had purchased Turtle shares in Avion tequila and that Turtle has made 4 million dollars as a result of the company going public. More man hugs are given.
