The best comment that can be made about this series is that it's the most complicated story, yet at the same time is the easiest one to follow. The art helps tremendously, as does the coloring. The rest is because it has plotting based upon human emotions. These aliens seems less alien. Politics are 95% of this story and it's exciting, Lots of betrayal and big conflict, makes this a winner.
Score: 8.5 out of 10
G.I. Joe : A Real America Hero - Issue 186
This is a remarkably slow story, until the last act and then it moves at break-neck speed. Much of the conflict is more between team-mates than enemies. The creative team sometimes spends a bit too much time impressing the reader with knowledge of military jargon. The cover is adequate and the interior artwork is alright.
Score: 7 out of 10
The Hollows - Issue 2

This book is breathtaking, by long-time artist Sam Keith. The design and style are wholly unique and mostly gorgeous. The color palate is subtle but engaging. The story is kind of jumbled as it focuses on a strange, futuristic world where people live in trees. It has an odd pace, but it does manage to mix a green message in.
