Interview With Author Elaine Seiler - Page 2
I had added a spiritual perspective to the life planning process I offered my clients, but something was still missing. I felt it but still had no words for it. I was experiencing things I could not rationally, emotionally or spiritually explain. I tried to make sense of what I was experiencing...going somewhere for example, and feeling uncomfortable when there was nothing present physically to account for my distress. Or I would feel as if I was doing more than just showing up at a given place, that I was actually working at that place, but what did that mean? Or, I knew that the food I was eating in a particular very good restaurant was terrible for me, but I had no idea why. I was not physically sick; I was not emotionally psycho-somatically ill; I just felt off or out of balance. Today, I would say that my distress in the first instance was caused by the energies of that place, that I was cleaning and clearing the energies in the areas where I felt that I was ‘working’ and that in the third instance, that I was effected by the negative emotions of the cook staff in that restaurant. At the time, however, all I knew was that something was going on, but I had not a clue what. This continued until I began to work with a Transformation Psycho-analysis who was also a ‘sensitive’; she was able to ‘see’ energy that I was experiencing. She could ‘see’ the unseen realms. Together over time, we began to make sense of that world, to create a language to describe that which had no words, and to put a frame, called ‘Transformation Energetics’ around my work and my experience.
CL: How did you come up with the title Multi-Dimensional You?
ES: As I was writing and editing the book, I played with many, many titles; nothing seemed to fit or express what I was trying to say until I came up with the title, MDYOU for those two words seemed to me to capture the essence of the world into which we, as a human species, were moving; it encompassed the physical world of the five senses and the non-physical worlds beyond, that have no shape, no time, no form and must be accessed through intuition or guidance. Those were the ‘multi-dimensions’ I had come to understand I was accessing, effecting and being effected by. I had come to believe that all humans were on a path to comprehend and navigate those realms as well.Continued on the next page
