marilyn_mansonMarilyn Manson is heading out April 27, 2012 on the Hey... Cruel World tour, his first tour since 2009.

The Hey... Cruel World tour is in support of Manson's highly anticipated eighth studio album, Born Villain, set for release May 1st, 2012. Born Villain showcases a return to the hard-driving, heavier industrial sound that helped Manson cross the genres of glam, shock and heavy metal over a decade ago; a sound which has become signature Marilyn Manson.

There are few bands who have impacted music like Marilyn Manson. Taking a tradition begun by amazing, creative artists like Alice Cooper, Mercyful Fate and Kiss, Marilyn Manson grabbed it by the balls, bitch-slapped it with some heavy industrial and techno metal, and then squeezed until it screamed. Marilyn Manson busted the Shock Rock genre wide open and moved it into a whole new realm of influence and, of course, controversy. Born Villain, Marilyn Manson's first release since his move to Cooking Vinyl records, may well be one of the rocker's strongest albums to date.

Along with the Hey... Cruel World tour, Marilyn Manson will also be performing at Rock on the Range on May 20, 2012, in Columbus, OH, along with a stellar line-up that includes Incubus, Rob Zombie and Shinedown. Visit www. MarilynManson.com for tickets, tour updates and to pre-order Born Villain.
