Random Events in Entertainment Technology Dec 2011 Thru 2012
By no means complete yet still comprehensive, thought I'd list a plethora of random technology and entertainment related events coming up through the end of 2011 and into 2012. Covering music, film, and other forms of entertainment, hopefully this list will inspire professionals and fans and offer a glimpse into the future of the convergence of show biz and technology.
Many of these events, conferences, expos and festivals are the biggest in show biz and convergence remains a dominant theme as it has been through the New Millennium. You'll find a mixture of individual events as well as sites that focus on events, festivals and conference listings of all types. Consider this a prelude to future postings on upcoming events. In those postings I'll discuss in greater detail what the events are about.
One of the most important events related to the convergence of entertainment and technology is the South by Southwest Conference, popularly known as SXSW.
