Taylor Swift Slays Ex-BF Joe Jonas and Kayne West During SNL Singing Monologue
Country star Taylor Swift skipped crying tears on her guitar and instead sang "lalala, hahaha and HA" to her ex-boyfriend on SNL this weekend. Nothing like a dose of sweet success to let your ex know how lame he is. She also hinted at rumors she's dating Twilight heartthrob, Taylor Lautner. Does this make their couple name Tay-Tay? Taylor Squared? Ok, we'll keep working on that one.
Like any successful celeb, Taylor Swift took her turn hosting SNL this past weekend and cleverly used her monologue to address the tabloid headlines which have dogged her throughout her meteoric rise to the top of the country and pop charts.
Swift, at the tender age of 19, has won 27 awards, including a Grammy, an AMA, a VMA, 3 CMA's and numerous song-writing awards. Taylor has had several Billboard hits and is one of the two females with the most top hits this decade. Taylor, as you may recall, was the little lass who had her VMA awards speech cut short by rapper and egomaniac Kanye West when she won for "Best Female Video."
Before this controversy, Taylor had to weather another tabloid storm when she revealed how her ex-boyfriend Joe Jones, of Jonas Brother fame, dumped her during a 27-second phone call during an appearance on the Ellen Degeneres Show. There were allegations of cheating, which Jonas has denied, even posting a letter of denial to fans on the band's website.
A barrage of he-said, she-said ensued, and the requisite heartbreak songwriting began. For Taylor heart-ache equals songwriting gold, so perhaps she should thank him. Instead she sang "lalala, hahaha" during her "singing monologue" this weekend - the effect is both charming and sweet, like Taylor herself.
