Inspiration comes from the heart. Music touches the soul. Grammy Award or not, every artist should stand up and be applauded for wearing their heart along with blood, sweat and tears on their sleeve. If if wasn't for these crafters, maybe we wouldn't be the world we are today.

Millions of music lovers felt the good vibrations through out the airwaves as Maroon 5 and The Beach Boys combined generations and came together for a jam session during the 54th Grammy Awards on Sunday.

L.L. Cool J opened with a prayer for the late Whitney Houston because he said it felt right to him to do.

Foo Fighters walked away (pun intended) with The Best Rock Performance for "Walk". Dave Grohl, lead singer for the Foo Fighters, talked about passing up the best of the Hollywood studios and making the music for "Walk" in his garage with microphones and tape machines. He resinated with the human vibrations and spoke the words of wisdom for the night. "The human element of making music comes from the heart and is whats most important. Singing into a microphone, learning to play an instrument and learning to do your craft; that's the most important thing people do. It's not about sounding absolutely correct. It's not about what goes on inside a computer. It's about what goes on in here (pointing to his heart) and here (pointing to his head)."

Each artist brought something amazing during each performance. So many artists were the performance of night. Springsteen was the opening act and could still rock the house. Bruno Mars brought the Motown inspiration back. Chris Brown worked it in his silver metalic pumped up kicks. Kelly Clarkson looked and sounded amazing. The Foo Fighters took it outside for all to hear what they had to say about learning to walk. Rihanna played into Cold Play's "Paradise"....and it truly was a light show paradise. Of course Maroon 5 and The Beach Boys came together for a regeneration. Taylor Swift had a stellar performance that appeared to be real life singing on stage. She got a standing ovation.
