And honestly, I didn't even want to be me at that point, because everything dealing with the inside of that relationship was so heartbreaking, but from the outside it looked so perfect.

"There's this huge internal struggle of sacrifice and giving up and trust and infidelity and all of these things that go along with it. So, the world isn't perfect that we see in the media... this celebrity and this celebrity dating, and 'Oh it's so perfect for them, I wish I could be like the people in the magazines.'

Interview: Keltie Colleen Rockettes, Rockstars and Rockbottom

Sometimes a story comes along that promises to turn the world on its head. A rare glimpse behind the scenes, written with a candor that makes it all the more poignant for its biting honesty. There is no attempt to pretty it up, no slapping lipstick on a pig or trying to convince us that the world of rockstars and fame is anything other than deceiving in its glamorous portrayals.

Just a few days ago I received a copy of Rockettes, Rockstars and Rockbottom, the biography of Keltie Colleen, which is now available for presale from Deadxstop.com publishing.

For those who know who Keltie Colleen is, my immediate interest would, of course, be understandable. For those who do not know her name I can only say that you've most likely been reading about her for quite some time, her face has graced the covers of dance magazines, but not nearly so often as it has the tabloids and gossip magazines. Her own talents have often been overshadowed by her relationships with certain high-profile rockstars.
