American Airlines Ejects Alec Baldwin From Plane
At the LAX airport on Tuesday, Alec Baldwin was asked to leave the airplane because his behavior was allegedly improper. His behavior allegedly caused a delay in the departure of the flight.
While the plane was on the tarmac, Alec Baldwin, the “30 Rock” star, allegedly didn't turn off his iPad when asked by a flight attendant. Baldwin was playing a game on his iPad at the time and later tweeted “Flight Attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving.”
American Airlines would not comment on the incident saying via Ed Martelle, “Owing to privacy concerns regarding our customers, we don't comment on something that might or might not have happened.”
Alec Baldwin's representative Matthew Hiltzik explained the incident as “Alec was asked to leave the flight for playing 'Words with Friends' on his iPad, while parked at the gate. Alec is so in love with 'Words with Friends' that he would risk getting thrown off a flight to play.”
On his following flight a few hours later, Alec Baldwin tweeted with his normal graciousness, “Now on the 3 o'clock American flight. The flight attendants already look.....smarter.”
