From Disney to Playboy: The Life of a Fallen Idol
Linday Lohan's story is repeated throughout history as the life of a fallen idol. She was a rising star when she appeared in Disney's Parent Trap in 1998. She went on to feature roles in other films such as Disney's Freaky Friday in 2003, and Mean Girls in 2004. Within a few years, her not-so-graceful fall began in a series of film roles where she was cast as an actress, but later had to withdraw for various reasons usually related to alcohol and possibly other substances.
After being in and out of rehab and treatment centers, Ms. Lohan was arrested for DUI in 2007, twice. She later pleaded guilty to various crimes related to her substance abuse. Then in 2010, she was cast in a role as the adult-film star, Linda Lovelace. (It's rather interesting that Ms. Lohan's father Michael Lohan was very recently accused by his ex-girlfriend of demands of a similar character.)
Since then, Ms. Lohan has spent most of her time in the spotlight in and out of courtrooms, probation offices and community service centers. Her most recent action with the courtroom ended when she posted bail on October 19th, 2011.
However, Ms. Lohan's most recent actions have truly driven her life down the wide and spiraling road to destruction. It's been widely reported in various publications that Ms. Lohan has received nearly $1 million for a full frontal spread in Playboy. Playboy has been on the road to destruction since it's inception and featuring Ms. Lohan cannot save it. Ms. Lohan needs to be concerned with saving herself from destruction and turning onto the straight and narrow road.
