Katie Holmes’ fashion line will debut at New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Centre. The actress' Holmes & Yang label has just been added to the official New York schedule, with a preview that will take place on September 12, from 9.30-10.30 AM. The 125-seat studio venue has been specifically designed to house intimate presentations.
"This is a big deal for Katie to show in the tents, under the full attention of the fashion editors and the glare of the media scrutiny," a source told The New York Post. "They could have done a small show elsewhere, so this proves she and Jeanne are very serious about their business.” Holmes & Yang was founded by Holmes and her stylist, Jeanne Yang, in 2009, making this a big step for the fashion line. It is the first time the duo will present their collection during fashion week, falling on the same day as big names such as Michael Kors, Rachel Zoe and Whitney Eve.
