Katy Perry and Russell Brand- A Hollywood Couple Worth Emulating?
If you have ever opened any celebrity gossip magazine, you will likely find out which stars and starlets are hooking up or breaking up. However, how many of these star marriages are healthy and worth examining?
For a while, my favorite celebrity couple was Jada Pinkett and Will Smith. However, now, a new couple has caught my eye: Russell Brand and Katy Perry. What could this quirky, sexy singer and hilarious comic do that isn't absolutely adorable? Sure, Russell Brand is not the most attractive man in the world. However, I can think of few couples in Hollywood today whose combined beauty rivals theirs.
First off, they are candid about their personal lives. Recently, if you've watched any entertainment news show, you have probably seen the adorable picture of her that Russell Brand tweeted without any make-up on. Another thing that I love about her is that, in many interviews, she's candid about their sex life without revealing too much. Sex in any marriage or long-term relationship is important because it is a basic human need, along with food.
Next, look at the pictures of them. Personally, they look like two teenagers head over heels in love. If you can tell that the attraction is that strong between two people in just a photograph, that speaks volumes about their relationship.
Finally, you can tell that they both have a sense of humor. Awards shows, red carpets — no matter where they are, they are always cracking jokes and seem to be having a good time. While I am sure that, like any couple, they have their issues, I like that they keep that under wraps and out of the public eye. From experience, I have found that exposing relationship problems can be incredibly detrimental to an otherwise healthy relationship that is not beyond repair.
I can hope for nothing but the best for this beautiful couple. Hopefully, we will see more of them. Personally, I can't wait until the next time they appear on any entertainment news show or in a celebrity gossip magazine — I can't think of any celebrity couple who brings a smile to my face quicker.
