Streets surrounding any event that Prince William and Kate attend will be closed off, and the LAPD has advised that anyone attempting to enter the cordoned off area without permission will be immediately arrested.

Upon their arrival at LAX International Airport, the couple will be greeted by California Governor Jerry Brown and his wife, Anne Gust Brown. From there they will attend a conference for UK Trade and Investment followed by a reception by the British Consul.

The remaining two days of the visit will include a charity polo match, a black tie dinner, a meet and greet with military families and a visit to the Inner-City Arts School.

Incidentally, Prince William and Kate chose a very good weekend to visit Los Angeles, missing the dreaded "Carmaggedon," the closure of the I-405, the nation's busiest freeway, by just one week.
