The clubs of L.A. and the streets of Hollywood will be safe for a few days after Lindsay Lohan's probation hearing went all sorts of wrong...for Lindsay.

Today was the court hearing to decide what the punishment would be for Lindsay violating her two 2007 DUI convictions. Lindsay had been court ordered to attend alcohol education classes, but she avoided those like a drunk avoids dry states on a Sunday.

Judge Marsha Revel, the only responsible adult in Lindsay's life, took the bull by the horns and slapped Lindsay with three consecutive 30-day stays in the local pokey. She was also sentenced to 90 days of rehab immediately following her jail sentence. TMZ is reporting that Lindsay will likely only do around 23 days, since most female inmates only serve 25% of their sentence.

I want so, so much to revel in Lindsay's comeuppance, but my heart's not in it.  It's not like when Paris Hilton was tossed in jail — that was totally awesome.  Hilton is someone who deserves to be miserable, uncomfortable and incarcerated, but Lindsay, she's just sad and pathetic.

Her no good, no count, crappy-ass, enabling parents are the ones who should be in jail.  Because of them, Lindsay, a pretty, talented young woman, is completely washed up at the age of 24.  Children shouldn't have to support their able-bodied parents and extended family, but those two nitwits have been abusing their children for money for years, and it's a shame that Lindsay must bear all the responsibility for their selfish stupidity.

All I can hope for is that being away from the losers, users and abusers for any period of time will help her get her priorities straight.  It's not too late Lindsay; use this as an opportunity to THINK.  Get it together girl.  You can do it.
