didn't believe it at first either, but it's true. Steve Jobs is dead.

Steve was only 56 years old at his passing, but had battled with pancreatic cancer since 2004. On August 24, 2011, he actually stepped down as the CEO because he could no longer keep up with his duties. A little over a month later, Steve Jobs has now passed on.

Thinking back, you could really say that Mr. Jobs was changed the world with his innovative creations. He made the personal computer possible and was the mastermind behind the iPod, iPhone, and iPad, which have been a huge success.

One only wonders where Apple will go from here. At the close of Tuesday's market, their stock (AAPL) was sitting pretty at $378.25. There's no doubt that the value will drop throughout the day on Wednesday, but what about the distant future? Where will Apple be a year from now?

There are quite a few visionaries within the Apple organization, and I'm sure there will be new devices debuting in the future, but the company will never be the same. I hope they continue to show strong growth in the years to come, but with the passing of a visionary like Steve Jobs, I would not be surprised if this day becomes the peak of their success.
