The Mysterious Case of Lindsay Lohan's SCRAM Violation
It was just last night I was saying, "I can't believe Lindsay Lohan's gone almost three weeks without activating her SCRAM anklet. Homegirl must be sniffing paint fumes." Well, lo and behold, it seems our little Lilo was NOT in compliance with her court ordered avoidance of the sweet, sweet nectar.
TMZ, who can barely contain their giddiness, are reporting that Lindsay Lohan is in trouble for a SCRAM violation (consuming alcohol) which is believed to have occurred during the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night.
Initially, there were varying reports circulating the internet, some saying she wasn't in violation (Lindsay likes those reports) some saying she was, and some saying it could be a fluke. PUH-LEEZE. This is Lindsay Lohan we're talking about, Lindsay without booze, is like a fish without water: they simply can't live without each other.
Judge Marsha Revel, who presided over Lindsay's infamous probation case last month issued a bench warrant on Lindsay, setting bail at $200,000. The same moron bondsman who bailed Lindsay out last month was called to duty today, and once again bailed her drunk-ass out. Which seems insane, considering they forfeited their first $10,000 after she violated the SCRAM rules. Some fools never learn. Lindsay is expected to turn herself into authorities some time on Wednesday and officially post bail.
Lindsay of course immediately tweeted that she can't see how the SCRAM unit went off, considering she didn't even sniff any booze, let alone drink it. However, we know Lindsay is an alcoholic, pathological and full of it, so why even waste time scratching your head on that one.
Here's the thing: Lindsay is addicted to drugs and alcohol and desperately needs to be in a medical facility which will help her safely be weened off these substances under supervision. Judge Revel is a MORON for not making this a condition for Lindsay's probation. And when, not if, Lindsay does some horrific harm to herself because of her addictions, it will be on the judge's conscience. How can Lindsay be expected to break the cycle when she is exposing herself to the same temptations night after night?
I might make fun of celebrities, particularly the repeat offenders, but I feel sorry for Lindsay. She is just too young, vulnerable and utterly incapable of helping herself. She is a drunk and a drug addict. Does no one care about this young woman?
Surrounded by enablers, users and famewhores, Lindsay is DOOMED.
