It continues to baffle the mind as to how much more proof is needed that this planet is definitely suffering the results of climate change. Big oil pays an enormous amount of money to prevent the common folk from knowing and accepting the truth.
Again, climate change is happening. The enormous upsurge in natural disasters that are a direct result of the planet being affected by the heavy usage of fossil fuels that Shell, Chevron, Exxon, BP and many other oil companies are making millions off of.
People are paying an enormous amount of money every day to damage the environment.
“There are agencies that are dedicated to the study of climate change that have said as early as 2007, there is no question; this is happening.” Rosebraugh said.
Greedy Lying Bastards will tell how big oil has used the country’s leadership to shield the truth from the public in order to keep their pockets lined with the hard earned cash of the very people they are supposed to be providing a service to. A service being provided at a beyond ridiculous price, people are left to contend with the fact that not only are their livelihoods being destroyed by big oil, one day there may be no planet left for big oil to destroy.
Two people in particular that the film’s story will follow, are business owners that were directly affected by the gulf spill that BP is responsible. The story also reiterates how BP is basically paying out chump change in the form of an apology; the payments of the business owners affected by the spill are scarcely enough for these people to come anywhere near making the living they once had.

On February 9th, Daryl Hannah signed on to Greedy Lying Bastards as an executive producer. This further shows not only Hannah’s commitment to the protection of the environment, but also speaks to the power of Rosebraugh’s message he hopes to instill in audiences.
