You can't keep J.K. Rowling, and her now very famous character Harry Potter, out of the limelight. Just as the Potter-mania seemed to fade away when Rowling ended the book series with the seventh part, the author has come up with a secret trump card that will reignite the Potter-mania all over world.

With the final film in the Harry Potter series -- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 -- all set to hit theaters July 15, J.K. Rowling has further spurred speculation about the possible continuation of the series by launching a new website Pottermore.com which features a logo, J.K. Rowling's signature, the message "Coming Soon", and a link to a YouTube channel which features a countdown clock ticking away the seconds to an announcement Rowling will make this coming Thursday, June 23 at 7:00 am.

Digitalspy.com reports that 10 Harry Potter fan sites were each given clues that led to a letter in the alphabet. After all the websites pieced the letters together, they discovered Pottermore.com's address.

A Twitter account has also been created: Twitter.com/pottermore.  A tweet on the page declares, "Looks like the owls are getting ready to deliver some exciting news," and directs visitors to Pottermore.com.

While it is still a mystery what the author is up to, we can not rule out a possible announcement of extending the Harry Potter series with the penning of another book by Rowling. BUT, at the same time, it would be wise if you don't set your expectations too high as it could all turn out to be a damp squib.

Whatever it is, it sure has got all the Harry Potter fans jumping with joy.
