Kick Ass 2: Confirming the Obvious

Recently, Kick Ass star, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, confirmed what a fair amount of us in the media already knew: "Kick Ass" will have a sequel. While promoting "Paranorman" at the notoriously famous San Diego Comic Con, he let it slip that the sequel to Kick Ass will most likely start filming in September.
I am a fan of the first Kick Ass film and feel like it is very refreshing since it is driven more by the characters, plot twists, and story lines, than just big meaningless explosions. It is rumored that the first act of the film will largely center around Chloe Moretz's character, Hit Girl, and Mintz-Plasse's character, The Red Mist, will be the main villain. So, where exactly does that leave Kick Ass?
Personally, I would like to see a Superbad sequel. However, I doubt that will happen. Consider it: the film launched the careers of Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Jonah Hill. Did I mention that all of them got exponentially hotter? Regardless, Kick Ass 2: Balls To The Wall is sure to excited audiences across America!
