“Marvel's The Avengers” Film Features Super Cast
Okay, all you moms out there in the real world need to read this brief summary of who the main Super Heroes are in this summers blockbuster film, Marvel's The Avengers. That is, if you want to be seen as in-the-know by your kids this summer.
First, there are seven Super Heroes in this summer's film. They are indeed Super Heroes, not characters. Mom's you must call them Super Heroes. Got that?
There is not really a leader, per se, in the group because Super Heroes think they can battle evil all on their own, much like your kids think they can do it all on their own. The second Super Hero is Robert Downey, Jr's character, Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man. Tony Stark is the self-made genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist who invented a mechanical suit of armor all by himself.
Steve Rogers, a.k.a. Captain America, is the Super Hero played by Chris Evans. He is a World War II veteran who was chemically enhanced to the peak of human capabilities by an experimental serum. He much like the professional athletes that your husband watches on television during his favorite sport's season.
Now, Hulk is the Super Hero played by Mark Ruffalo. The Hulk is nothing like a professional athlete. The Hulk is the transformed monster of Dr. Bruce Banner, a genius scientist who was exposed to gamma radiation. When enraged or excited, Dr. Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk and tends to smash and destroy people and places. He's much like that man that you don't want in your life that everyone warns you about from the time to time.Continued on the next page
