Mystery Movie Trailer Points to Alien Prequel
Seems 1012 is the year for epic movie prequels. Hot off the unveiling of the Hobbit Part 1 prequel, it would appear that the blockbuster space scare franchise Aliens just may also be ready to do some box office damage of its own.
If rumors hold true, director Ridley Scott, who hasn't directed a SciFi release since the futuristic game-changer Blade Runner, looks in Prometheus to take us way back, to our very first encounter with the acid-bleeding exoskeletal race. Although nobody is admitting whether or not this is an Aliens prequel, some say there are some powerful hints pointing to it.
The short trailer itself points to beautiful animation, jaw-dropping graphics, and a powerful storyline. Whether Prometheus is an Aliens prequel or not, you'll see me in the theater come June 8th.
